UPDATE: Crash at Olson and Cambridge

2:06 AM: If you’re hearing the sirens: An initially sizable “rescue” response for a crash at Olson Place and SW Cambridge [map] is being downsized. Per scanner and SFD tweet, a driver hit a tree and wall, but isn’t trapped in the vehicle as originally feared.

2:14 AM: No major injuries – the medic unit has been dismissed too.

I’m glad to hear no one was hurt. Judging by the direction of the truck he was going down Olson Pl and crossed the other direction of traffic, so it is lucky that other cars weren’t involved.

I live right above the street and somehow slept through this, but I’ll go add the wreckage to the growing pile from all of the other accidents on this stretch of road, it is far too common.
