6:42 PM: If you know of an open-to-the-public viewing party for the first presidential debate tomorrow, we’d love to hear about it – we’ve been asked multiple times today! Parliament Tavern (4210 SW Admiral Way): “We’ll have the two parties represented on the big screen, but the REAL party falls smack during happy hour, which will carry through the end of the debate! $4 draft micros! $4 wells! $2.50 Rainier’s and PBR tallboys!”

I DONT GET IT. The debates maybe had a place in generations past. We know their positions or lack thereof. Given the questions are filtered by media to support the hope for future $ revenue whats the point? Both parties will say the won to a viewing party that is 92% made up. I’d rather watch a rerun of Bates Motel.
