The West Seattle High School softball team finished district-tournament play on Friday night by taking 4th place, and will be the only Seattle school advancing to the state 3A tournament in Lacey. The Wildcats lost to Eastside Catholic at Southwest Athletic Complex, 6-3. It was the Wildcats’ second consecutive loss after opening district play with a win over Bainbridge, following their first-ever Metro League championship.
