TRAFFIC/TRANSIT TODAY: Friday updates and alerts

(Click any view for a close-up; more cameras on the WSB Traffic page)

6:29 AM: Good morning and welcome to April. The day begins with a transit alert – a crash at 3rd/Seneca has Metro routing the C Line, 120, and 56 off Seneca between 1st and 3rd. SDOT says the crash is blocking one southbound lane.

6:31 AM: And just like that, Metro has now sent an alert saying those routes are all back to normal.

9:26 AM: Reminder for next week – the parochial schools that were out on break this week will be back to school; the Highline district just south of West Seattle will be on break. (Seattle and Vashon public schools are out the week of April 11th.)

#57 is again a no show/very late with no communication from metro. Still waiting on the 706am from the junction at the east end of genesee hill.  It’s now 10 min late.

57 seems to be MIA.  12 minutes late at my stop on genessee hill.

approx. 20 minutes late when it showed.  According the driver he was stuck behind a train.  seems like that is something metro could have communicated.

Is April Fools Day also Don’t Use Your Turn Signal Day? I just took a trip from AH to North Delridge and back and saw no less than five cars make turns without signaling. As if the glare from the sun wasn’t making things dangerous enough out there. Fellow drivers, please use your signals to let other cars know your intentions. Thanks!

No it’s not an April Fools  joke.  Seems more and more drivers today are idiots who don’t give a crap about others.  Everyday I see folks who don’t use turn signals, run red lights, don’t stop at crosswalks and much more!

Sorry, comment time is over.
