That is such a bad area and car theft has been huge there for many years. I think it is time for some bait cars!!
We’ve already talked about bait cars for quite some time. It won’t happen because it’s not in the budget and crime is down. Even though once a day a car is stolen from our area. No biggy.
That’s a complicated system to hotwire, bypassing the ecu. Does the owner still have all their keys? Possibly towed?
just to add a little humor to an otherwise serious and frustrating situation, when i have watched the bait car tv shows, the look on the criminals face is priceless! And i bet it would reduce the number of car thieves….
This car was dropped off in front of my house sometime today. I called the police so just waiting for them to show up.
