Speaking of West Seattle art: Spotted in Lincoln Park

This wasn’t a stop on tonight’s West Seattle Art Walk but perhaps should have been – temporary art spotted in the south end of Lincoln Park.

Patti McCall sent the photos, and tonight Karen sent a tip about it too, saying one side showed up yesterday, the other today. (Thank you both!) Backstory, anyone?

The pink side was being put up mid afternoon on Wednesday. Looked like a banner for a party or something when I walked by with the dog, so assumed that was what it was for.

Temporary art. The medium is cellophane wrap so it can be detached from its environment without permanently affecting a fixed surface. Very cool!
