… you were. From WSB HQ, this past half-hour, we heard what we were certain was the rumbling of a fireworks show in the distance, and guessed something was happening in Kitsap County, maybe on Vashon. Various web searches finally yielded the answer: Kitsap indeed, for Silverdale Whaling Days.
Man, I love you WSB. My dog started going crazy, but I couldn’t figure out why! Thank you for always having the answer to the question.

And NOT just Kitsap. The Seafair Torchlight Parade had LOTS of very, very LOUD booms going off, that sounded like bombs which I’m sure could have been heard in WS!
