Furry Faces launching pet-tagging program @ Summer Fest

Starting today, at West Seattle Summer Fest, West Seattle-based animal-advocacy group Furry Faces Foundation will launch a new campaign called “Tag Your Pet…It Ain’t Graffiti!” to raise awareness about the importance of pet tags, providing tags for $5 to $8 each.

In their announcement, Furry Faces says pet tags are the #1 way lost pets are reunited with their owners. For pets without tags, however, Furry Faces says the statistics are bleak. And even though 80 percent of pet owners believe it is important for their pets to wear ID, only thirty-three percent of them have their animals tagged. So thanks to the donation of a new pet-tag engraver, Furry Faces hopes to improve these numbers. Through their new program, they will engrave and sell pet tags and collars to owners on the spot, with funds from the sales going to provide tags for financially-restricted pet owners. Interested? THIS IS WONDERFUL! I cannot tell you how many times I have gotten upset when people don’t have tags for their pets and they really have NO good excuse. If you love your dog or cat, get them tagged, licensed and microchipped!

Thanks WSB. We are located in front of the Eagles! In addition to our tags, we will have our new, creative dog product called ‘Tie One One!’ Got to see it to believe!

Furryfaces has some swell, and even several dandy ties to make Fido or Fidette the canine fashion star of the neighborhood!

    .

And the tags are cool too!

    .

Microchipping is wonderful, and pretty much a necessity nowadays, but there ain’t nuthin’ like and old fashioned I.D. tag as a back-up, because if, forbid, your pooch does get separated from you, a quick glance at a phone number, or street address on a tag, can be a much quicker re-uniter!

    .

If you don’t know where the Eagles is, another great landmark is the Junction Post Office.

    .

So, stop on by and meet the F3 Gang, and remember; it’s hip to………..

    .

…..wear a cool tie! (And and I.D. tag)
