NO WATER TAXI tHIS MORNING: Reminder that the West Seattle Water Taxi is canceled this morning because of mechanical trouble that cut its schedule short last night. We’ll publish an update whenever word comes in that a decision is made for this afternoon/evening.

OVERNIGHT BRIDGE CLOSURES: Scheduled again tonight – Fauntleroy Expressway (info here) and eastbound Spokane Street Viaduct (SDOT announcement here), both 9 pm-5 am.

FYI, Madison Middle School will have an Open House Thursday night 2/2/12 starting at 6:30pm. Come by and see a great school that is doing a wonderful job educating my child. : )

It was canceled; we took it off the calendar when we got that word a few days ago. Lafayette says the district canceled it; there’s no plan to reschedule BUT they are conducting daytime tours “by appointment” … TR

Was at Ladayette a bit ago (hadn’t seen the xcln). No signs on the doors or anything. Lots of other confused parents milling about. Please someone reassure that they’re usually a bit more organized than this?
