I live in the white house on the corner and heard the accident from my yard. I didn’t see it because of the hedge that surrounds my property but I did hear it and saw a front bumper fly way up in the air. The driver of the car, who was the only one injured, ran the stop sign on 30th ave heading southbound and a jeep heading west on Thistle with an infant and toddler inside slammed right into them. There were no sounds of brakes, just a horrific loud boom and crash. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt because it looked really bad. Not sure how the guy didn’t see the stop sign, it’s clearly visible.

There are a lot of near-misses at this intersection and at 31st, 32nd and 34th as drivers speed-through the neighborhood north-south. There are many un-reported collisions on Cloverdale for the same reason.

Sorry, comment time is over.
