Video: West Seattle Health Fair, with a ‘flash mob’!

If you drove 35th SW in the High Point area in the past half-hour or so – you might have seen the “flash mob” dancers on the sidewalk north of Walgreens, part of the West Seattle Health Fair, continuing till 8 pm. (added) Here’s the video:

There’s a “healthy food” tour at the drugstore – which carries fresh produce – and the nearby High Point Market, as well as a bigger concentration of activities, including free health testing, a few blocks away in the parking lot behind High Point Neighborhood Center (Sylvan Way and Lanham):

Entertainment, too.

You obviously missed the fresh fruit smoothies that were being served at the West Seattle Food Bank.

If we’d have known, we would have walked across 35th for a photo! The advance material we received didn’t mention it, and we only heard about the “flash mob” thanks to a mid-afternoon tip … TR

Thanks Michelle O and Beyonce! As more celebrities share health-minded messages instead of advertising junk, I gain hope for our world. Adults can learn this with their kids to get and stay in shape while having fun together. The “Let’s Move – Flash Workout” is so much fun, as you can see…

I was tied up with a project and missed it, but I loved seeing the video and how many kids were involved! I love High Point!
