Healthy kids are safe kids, so the safety experts – aka Seattle Fire Department team members – from nearby Fire Station 32 were part of the picture today as the West Seattle Family YMCA (WSB sponsor) celebrated its annual Healthy Kids Day. The weather was perfect to climb up the “rock,” too:

Free indoor activities were offered, too – above, a chance to try out Zumba; karate, hula hoops, and clown-assisted balloon-making were among the other options. Back outside – a chance to bounce and slide:

And at least the weather wasn’t too cold for the dunk-tank-braving Y volunteers (here facing a line including dancers from South Park’s Concord International Elementary School who performed at Healthy Kids Day too):
