ADDED 9:09 AM: From the comments, one more meeting tonight of note for anyone interested in local Seattle Public Schools.

ADDED 12:41 PM: Couple more additions: Youngstown Arts Center’s All-Access Showcase tonight, with amazing performances by the youth who are part of the afterschool (etc.) program there, 6 pm; Sanislo Elementary has a fundraising book fair tonight at Barnes and Noble/Westwood Village – 6:30 to 8:30 pm – if you buy a book, be sure to tell the clerk it’s to benefit Sanislo!

There is also a meeting sponsored by the school district and the Seattle Council PTSA tonight at West Seattle High, 7-8:30 p.m. The WS region executive director for schools and local school principals will be in attendance. The evening will include an overview of West Seattle School Reports and breakout discussion sessions centered on improvement plans and next steps.

You can look up your school’s report here: http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=ubuirfdab&et=1104048865276&s=835&e=0015OSM9xl_CNpl_bVzP7VbQ469pitPa2l1sfUirKK7BmCmreftQHNACfSJSCBvyt_IKfIh5M4gKwGCK4xVdxWwOSJ6Oh8gl1OX-NcmyOpw48mLI45eY1tceCKxDtfTEX7c0TtCsYp77AkJA9JcvZcR2Q==

Thanks for the reminder – I know we published the first announcement about that a month or so ago but apparently neglected to add it to the calendar – will add to the main blurb – TR

Wait till you see the rest of them. He photographed/videographed when we went on a Duwamish tour a week ago offered by several local governments to offer more information about the cleanup proposals – I’m still working on the accompanying story. – TR
