Finishing touches ahead for 16th SW: Stripes, bumps

As first reported here over the weekend (thanks again to Julie for the tip!), 16th SW is open again both ways after the completion of road-rebuilding work. SDOT just formally announced it and added that a bit of work remains – striping (tomorrow if the weather’s not too bad) and speed bumps. No more detours are planned, but flaggers might be used.

On my way to work today I noticed that they were marking Admiral in different configurations…I thought that project was canceled? Any one know about that?

No, Admiral is still being restriped, the project was not canceled. It’s just not losing any lanes. But a bike lane is being added on one side, among other changes:
