Since 1948, the center has seen many changes and transformations but none of them more defining than the recent transformation when the center went non-smoking one year before Washington State passed the No-Smoking law. After the decision was made to go non-smoking, the center upgraded the appearance inside by adding a new scoring system, new flooring and carpeting, plush furniture that features couch seating, and updated sound & lighting for dramatic effects during the Glowzone they offer every Saturday night. West Seattle Bowl offers a full line-up of league play Sunday though Thursdays from 6 pm to 9 pm and a second shift of league on some nights beginning at 9 pm. They offer great deals for open play bowlers with nightly specials from Sunday through Thursday after 9 pm. They also offer a Sunday morning package for families to come and bowl for 2 hours and receive soda and shoes with the package.
