It was a beautiful day at the Market, full of people shopping, enjoying the spring flowerw, tasting the food, buying fresh produce, greeting friends.

It was very disheartening (but many thanks to the kind people who posted the signs!) to see that Diamond Parking is charging and enforcing a $3.00 parking fee at the Wells Fargo lot. How greedy is that? I also noticed that the small lot across the street from US Bank has gone up to $5.00 in the evening. This is so unfortunate (but amazing timing, eh?) now that the lot behind Petco is gone. I for one will not pay $5.00 for the 10 or 15 minutes it takes to pick up pet supplies!

Margaret- there is a great pet food store in Westwood Village..I can’t recall the name…but there is always plenty of free parking there.

Pet Pros is the one in Westwood.
Funny, I was just down in The Junction and happened to look at the tangle of “park here if you’re not our customer and we will kill you immediately” type signs behind some businesses near the former Petco former lot. There’s a parking followup in all that for sure, will effort that for the next day or two. Been meaning to check with the city re: the timetable for the whole Junction parking “review” anyway.

Sorry, comment time is over.
