Now the snow talk is starting to sound serious

All the recent snow hints from forecasters didn’t translate to reality. But the National Weather Service‘s new forecast is out, and tomorrow night sounds serious.

I’m not losing any sleep over it yet. I’m seeing VERY conflicting reports. Weather.com for my WS zip code says nothing about snow – just rain. And most of the snow reports seem to include Everett and places where it generally gets more snow than Seattle anyway. We’ll see what really happens.

I don’t know about “serious”, but I’d side with WSB and the NOAA (aka: NWS) forecast before I side with weather.com, which, while based on NOAA reports, are often generalized for a region like Seattle and not as zip code-centric as we’d like to think. (Sorry, I’m a bit of a weather geek. LOL)

Bring it on! I need some sled time with my 4 y.o. What more can you ask for? Snow on a weekend! no messy commute, I have lots of beer and warm mittens!

Jan, I had to go to the supermarket last night for something and wondered if I’d be hit up with the panic shoppers. Thankfully no – just the late night snacking crowd. And for the record, I bought no milk, bread or TP. :)

Sue….I was part of that late night snacking crowd at my Safeway. It was nice and quiet for the most part. It’s just across the street so I don’t ever have to “panic”…but sometimes it’s way too handy…:)

Sorry, comment time is over.
