Too warm for any other kind of snowflakes, but these pole-borne holiday decorations are up along California Ave between Edmunds and Genesee.

evie…I was thinking the same thing…I’m still in autumn mode…definitely not ready for the Christmas holidays. But….look at it this way….time is flying by, and it’ll be summer before we know it ;-)

It is too early!!!! Stuff comes out now before Halloween. I remember when Christmas decorations didn’t come out until after Thanksgiving. Of course that’s way back when I walked to school….five miles….in the snow…..uphill….both directions. :-) And we liked it!

Does anyone know why the decorations do not extend to the Admiral junction area???

  • Jan November 11, 2007 (7:12 pm)

probably because they’re maybe provided by the Junction Business Association, which deals only with the businesses in the Alaska Junction area…

In the Admiral district we have the annual appearance of the big red bows on the bridge over the Fairmount gully.

Gina….do you know why we only get bows on one side of the bridge? I’ve always wondered about that…

Sorry, comment time is over.
