Where is the WS Farmers’ market now? It is still behind NW Art and Frame in the parking lot? I didn’t see it there last Sunday. Thanks!

  • WSB November 3, 2007 (11:33 pm)

It’s actually in the parking lot right behind Key Bank, a little further north than where you looked.

I think I have a new addiction…Parkers Pickles – we bought dill cukes and sweet & spicy asparagus today. YUM! I’ve already eaten half of the asparagus and wish I’d picked up the dilled green beans too. They had a huge assortment of sweet and savory sauces that we’ll have to try next week.

The pickled green beans are good, especially if you’re a spice wimp, like me. I’d love to get the asparagus but he only had the spicy kind.
Tried Romanesco Broccoli for the very first time. Yummy! I don’t like cauliflower but love broccoli – romanesco is a very nice change.
Was sad to see Port Madison goat cheese isn’t available right now. It’s the best!
And if you want to get an xmas ornament don’t forget your checkbook or more cash. By the time I got to that booth all I had was a credit card and they can’t take those :-(

Does anyone know who the fellow selling the smoked ahi tuna is? Or have they seen him lately? The last couple of times I’ve been at the WS Market, I couldn’t find him – but he was there earlier this summer. Love the smoked tuna and want more!
