  1. AMAZING food. Great prices. Fresh ingredients. Real ingredients. Homemade ketchup. One of my all time favorite breakfast places. A+++

  2. Delicious breakfast served here. Sitting at the counter watching the owner/cook do her thing is fun. A few things to note: wait times can be very long for weekend mornings, substitutions are frowned upon (chef came to my table to explain why), and it’s difficult to find if you’re not in the know (The big sign still says “Jade West” on top of the building… a former restaurant there.) All that being said, you must go as soon as possible, and leave your diet at home.

  3. Best sausage gravy in town. Biscuits used to be huge and flaky – amazing – but cost cutting led to smaller, harder biscuits. I guess I’ll just need more gravy. If you are counting calories, this is not the place for you. Go here for comfort and decadence. Very local, WS vibe, which I love.

  4. Actually, someone lost the original biscuit cutter…we’ll return to our earlier size shortly. ;-)

  5. And thank you! I love you guys, and that we’re still here after almost a year during times that even many established places are struggling during. <3

  6. Don’t be scared, try Aftons Hot Mess! The most delicious breakfast ever! Then go to the West Seattle Chamber site and vote for Meanders for the best new business, vote by January 31!

  7. The worst disappointmet ever in West Seattle, or anywhere else in the US for that matter. Dirty environment, dirty wait staff. There were 6 people in place, and 4 sent their food back with out eating more than a few bites. The owner told us we were wrong, that the food was good. Well 2/3′s of the customers begged to differ. I wasn’t with the other 2 who didn’t eat their food, didn’t know them, didn’t talk to them. So there was no conspiracy, just bad food!

  8. We stopped in for a Monday late-morning breakfast and loved the food and service. The menu is varied and creative but solid breakfast favorites. We had the Meander’s Scramble, the Little Bit (kid’s meal), the 2-egg breakfast and the Eggs Benedict. All of the food was excellent, hot, delicious and fresh. Service was just fine. Two in our party had the biscuits (as recommended by our waitress) and they were light and tasty, especially when topped with the table jam, which looks and tastes homemade. The only thing I would change is upgrading the coffee to Stumptown or something a little higher in flavor. This was our first visit and we’ll definitely be back soon.
