  1. Have eaten there a few times. WANTED to eat there more often as I live in the neighborhood and wanted to support them! But I’m someone who tries to eat healthy and this restaurant offers no healthy alternatives. No eggbeaters, no sugar free syrup or fat free dressing.. items I’ve come to expect from ANY restaurant. I’ve asked them about this many times… but it never changes. So, sadly, they’re off my list.

  2. Hours for this holiday weekend: New Years Eve, cafe 6:30am-9pm, bar 3pm-2am, New Years Day, Cafe 9am-9pm, bar 10am-2am. Mon. Jan. 2nd Cafe 9am-3pm, bar 3pm-2am.

  3. Our family really enjoys the food and atmosphere at heartland cafe. Simple, good comfort food in generous servings. This is not a place for watching your calories, but we did not find it over the top for being unhealthy. Our favorite dish is the “volcano” with green beans, mash potatoes and gravy. We split it and get another entree. Service is quick and friendly. My 9 year old daughter has this to say: heartland cafe is made for kids and adults, it is comfortable and has nice food.

    We are fixing to launch a new menu soon, that will include breakfast, lunch and supper served until 9pm. This change will bring around 75 items available after 4pm. It’s going to be yummy!
