So since the sad closure of Meanders I’ve not been able to fill the gaping biscuits and gravy hole in my soul. I’m not talking about good b&g. I’m looking for amazing.

What are your favorite breakfast joints in West Seattle / White Center and why?

Not in WS, but Honest Biscuits now has a shop in Pike Place that serves biscuits and gravy: http://www.honestbiscuits.com/p/menu.html

You can buy the biscuits at the farmers market, but no gravy there :(

Whole Foods has b&g in their breakfast buffet. I haven’t found “amazing” ones in any restaurant, usually because they’re so stingy with the gravy. The benefit to getting them at Whole Foods is that you can adjust the portions any way you like…

Amazing in it’s own way, http://www.harryschickenjoint.com/ in West Seattle. Lamb country gravy. YUM. Extra gravy as needed.

Thanks for the suggestion advntrplz. Harry’s was great and the staff very friendly. I took my food to go but next time think I’ll sit down for a bite. Not breakfast food but good for dinner.

On a related note Meanders is reopening on California so my original problem is solved!

@Stina Art, of Honest Biscuits, does offer biscuits and gravy at the Sunday West Seattle Farmer’s Market. And not only that, the gravy has small chunks of Uli’s sausage in it. Also, Fiddleheads cafe at Oregon and California offers the same but the wait may be long. My breakfast partner cleaned his plate, however.
