High Point Neighborhood Night happens Friday night February 1st from 6:00-8:00 pm at Neighborhood House (6400 Sylvan Way SW).
High Point Family Center and Neighborhood House are hosting our quarterly High Point Neighborhood Night and Friday’s event will be focused on understanding and advocating for immigrant & refugee youth rights. Representatives from One America, the Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative and Juvenile Justice Advocates will be speaking about key issues and leading breakout workshops.
The goal of the evening is for attendees to:
* Learn about the issues impacting the daily lives of immigrants and refugee youth
* Gain the necessary tools to bring the concerns which affect of our youth to community and government leaders
* Better understand the Legislative process and how to share your story with elected officials
All West Seattle residents are encouraged to attend.
