Another disconnect, fixed

For everyone kind enough to have been voting for us in the seemingly endless saga of the Metroblogging Seattle popularity poll (we’re in it too deep now to quit) — the original polling service (dPolls), died, and they’ve just relaunched our part of the poll here. (We’ve updated the page that links to the tab atop this page, too.) Thanks for your help!

Okay. Just voted 3 from work email and 3 from home email. We’re ahead now by 1 vote.
    Yeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh for us!

Yeah I think they meant – once a day – 3 total per person… At least that’s the way I read it.

“To maintain the “vote once-per-day” attitude I elected to NOT cookie-lock the poll. That means you can vote as many times as you like. HOWEVER… since this will run three more days I ask you to please keep it to three votes per person.” Anyone? Three times per day, or three times total for three days left??????

I took it as 3 times total. But you could vote all 3 times today and just not vote again…

We’re up against a blog whose readership is on the internet all day. I suggest we e-mail our friends and family to encourage them to vote. It’s time we finally won something (even if it just a popularity contest). Vote and tell your friends to vote!

I can’t vote anymore, ’cause I got greedy and voted 3 times from personal email and 3 times from work email on first day. Guess I’ll start making calls. We’re ahead the last time I looked.

Sorry, comment time is over.
