West Seattle Lost/Found Pets

Lost or found a pet? E-MAIL INFO/PHOTO TO: westseattleblog@gmail.com – plain text with contact #, one JPG photo, no Word/PDF/etc. docs. PLEASE let us know when the situation is resolved, so we can remove the listing. Thanks!

RULES: Please only report “found” pets that are in your custody – if you see a “possible lost pet running around,” check to see if it is reported as lost. If it is, PLEASE contact the owner directly with your sighting – they might not see a comment soon enough. If the pet needs medical attention, please get that attention before asking us to post. Please do NOT submit a comment with an opinion of the pet, its owner, its circumstances, its breed, OR promoting someone who charges $ to search for pets.

LOST CAT: Abyssinian named Tiny Kitten

I have just moved up to West Seattle for a temporary job and lost my cat the first night we were up there. He was last traced to 61st Ave between SW Hinds St and SW Admiral Way. He is an Abyssinian, (brown with black stripes) about 10 lbs, 11 years old and has a microchip. He is very intelligent. He knows his name (Tiny Kitten), has a higher-pitched meow, is lithe and fast. He typically doesn’t like strangers, men, fast or loud noises and will likely hide in a dark place under somewhere he feels safe. He has very sharp claws and because he is fast please call me if you see him and do not try to catch him because he may run and hide somewhere not easily accessible. 503-888-3318

LOST CAT: Jobi is missing

We just moved, and our “barn cat” (who ended up being not-so-feral) escaped from our patio. He’s just shy of a year-old, short-hair black kitty with white chest and feet. One of his ears is clipped (they do that at the animal shelter to all “feral” cats). We sure miss him! Last seen at 3625 Beach Drive on Thursday, May 19th. Text us at 206 755 9705.
