This dog just wandered into our yard at 26th Ave SW and SW Brandon. Female, guessing 10 years old. One tag has the name Monkey. No owner info. Blue bandana, a number of rabies tags from AZ. Very sweet dog seeking attention, wanted to come inside. I put a notice in the 24PetWatch site and the service called but the phone number they had for owner is out of service (and it is a CA area code & registered to someone with a CA address).
Will take to vet in the morning for chip scan, hopefully owner info is available that’s more current than the petfinder service had.
MONDAY MORNING UPDATE: Taken to Seattle Animal Shelter – so if this dog is yours, please contact SAS.
We found a dog’s owner because of what was on the dog. The bandana could have been placed by a groomer. I don’t know which grooming facility uses bandanas.
