FOUND CAT? Wandering in the cold – December 3, 2024 9:09 pm

I am a neighbor at the corner of Delridge Way SW & SW Cloverdale St. I’ve seen this cat coming back and forth around my condo ever since around the summer. I am not sure who she belongs to, but it doesn’t appear to be anyone in my complex and it’s starting to get really cold. She’s very sweet, and she clearly belongs to someone since she has a very distinctive collar. We take her in and feed her and let her warm up from time to time, but now she’s scratching on our front and back doors every day/ night begging to be let in. We really enjoy her company, and she is very calm and friendly, but we just want her to be happy, safe, and warm with her family. I reached out to a few people who posted cats that look like her, but they got back to me and said it wasn’t their kitty. Jessica (206) 852-1331 (cell/ text)

I’m just curious if his owner texted you or any new information

Make a temp collar out of 1″ white elastic – sew the ends together. Use a sharpie to write on it “is this your cat?” and your phone or email.

You may be saving her from coyotes.   We unfortunately witnessed a cat crying to get into a house & a coyote chased it.   We were not able to save the cat.   Thank you for helping this cat.

That’s kind of you to have cared for her, I think at this point though an animal shelter may be the best option if you are unable to keep her yourselves.  There are so many dangers for animals out there with cars, predators and the elements.
