This is a budgie/parakeet. I’d be happy to care for him while we search for his family. I’m a bird behaviorist and have everything this bird needs. Also, the fact that he has his eyes closed despite your being in such close proximity to him indicates that he should be seen by an avian vet. I can take him to my vet (Dr. James Onorati, Des Moines Veterinary Hospital) right away. –Birds are fragile and if their health is compromised, they can go downhill very quickly. I’ve send a text.
