West Seattle, Washington
21 Monday
Recognize this dog? It was rescued early this morning from the rocks along Emma Schmitz Viewpoint by helpful police and firefighters, we’re told, and taken to Lien Animal Clinic in The Triangle for a chip check (etc.)
UPDATE: Reunited! A story’s coming up on the main page.
I was lucky enough to be part of this rescue and I can assure you this dog is super sweet. He seems older with the white muzzle and cataracts. I do hope his owners or a good home are found. He’s definitely a keeper!
I was one of the other lucky individuals involved with his rescue…so glad we found him. Thank you Cathy. I stopped by Lien to check on him and he’s doing well. We’ll be following up on him. What a sweet, sweet old guy he is.
Thanks to the three lovely ladies who were aware enough to hear the poor old guy barking from down inside a hole in the rocks. He wouldn’t ever have been able to get out of there without their help. It is nice to know your neighbors care and are willing to make an effort to help out. Paul – L11
He looks so sweet…but very sad/scared. I hope he’s happy and wagging now :)
Happy news to report! The dog’s owner has been found and they have been reunited. So glad he is safe and back home now!
Another great West Seattle neighbors helping neighbors (including dogs) story! :)
With the cataracts maybe he fell onto the rocks then couldn’t see well enough to get back onto the walkway?
Glad he’s back with his owners.
