A recent transplant from the east coast, you might want to give Chaucer Wells a try. He does a lot of head shots and portrait work. I met him last year at a photo club meeting.

Julie Sotomura is awesome, both as a person and as a photographer. She’s located in West Seattle.

I had headshots done at Donna Ryan Photography (City Mouse) in the Junction – she also does family portrait work. She’s lovely, a lot of fun, and I was very happy with her work. http://donnaryanphotography.com

If you are a family of fungi I think Machel Spence would do a beautiful job. I know, not helpful (but she really is great if you’re a mushroom).

I’m thinking we need a directory of West Seattle’s professional photographers. I hear from new ones all the time, usually kindly sharing work here when they’ve captured a sunset or wildlife or something else memorable, and yet when we are asked for recommendations, I’m never entirely sure who to point them toward … you just have to look at their online portfolios and say, THAT’S the style of imagery I want … TR

    Hi,

I am a photographer who lives in the North Admiral area. I always try and coax clients to our area, but would love to capture more families/couples that live in West Seattle.

Feel free to check out my work here-
