Winter mid-day Water Taxi?

I’d love to use the Water Taxi in the winter too — to go downtown for a morning meeting, or to go for lunch and come back later — but I don’t want to have to be there all day. Has a noon run ever been considered? And who would I contact regarding this — City? DOT? ______? Thanks!

I wanted this for years when I had a varied schedule and had some weekdays free. I think it would a great idea.
