We have a window screen with several huge holes in it – is there somewhere local that I can bring it to have the screen replaced in the same frame?

Sue…I wonder if Home Depot could help you with that? Or maybe at least point you in the right direction…

I needed replacement window screens for my vacation home, McLendon’s did an excellent job matching the other screens. If I remember correctly the prices are quite reasonable.

Thanks Gina – I’ll check them out.

Jan, I thought of HD too, but then figured they were more likely to sell me a kit to fix it myself, but it’s a bit beyond my expertise. But if McLendon’s can’t help for some reason, I will try HD.

You could also try True Value in the Junction. Don’t know if they do it but if not maybe a name of someone who does.

Just an FYI, I found out that True Value in the junction DOES do screen repair/replacement. I saw the sign there yesterday at their service desk and he said that he thought that pretty much only he and McLendons do this type of work in the area. I ran back today with the screen and he said we’ll have it by Wednesday and should cost $13 or so. Now if only I could find the squirrel that did this and make him pay. :)
