he has offended me with some of the Bush policies that he has followed down the rocky road to ruin…

but why on earth would i ask him to step down when I can ask him to correct his mistakes?

a better question is why would the Republican party ask a seated legislator to step down after he wins his party’s nomination for another term over a comment he made?

I actually like it that President Obama carefully prepares his speeches, making careful choices of the words that will best convey his meaning… and.. that he uses a teleprompter to make sure he gets it right.

it’s refreshing after the younger Bush’s years of fumbling vague inaccuracy and bombastic rhetoric.

It really is too bad that Romney has chosen to follow in Bush’s footsteps. I sincerely hope for his sake that he is capable of more.

no, you don’t. there’s no way to cut 1/3 of the budget. not without defense cuts, anyway. and god forbid we should question the need for no-bid contracts or useless F-22 orders or the wisdom of having hundreds of military bases scattered around the globe.

but people who need food and access to medical care in the land of the free and the home of the brave? leeches!

First, phobic implies fear. It’s a catchy phrase, in the popular lexicon, but no basis in fact. Mayhaps some “wishful” thinking that we tremble at the thought of such powerful a minority status.. but we don’t. Now, I have met some pretty petty, mean -spirited democrats in my day… many who are pro traditional marriage with an extra twist of hate, disgust, or any number of additional pejoratives attached… but see.. I don’t care. It’s a side bar, a teeny issue to me as a voter. I am thinking JOBS and DEFICITS… that’s it. I will overlook any social issue this election.. for the aforementioned. OUr morass is too deep to be bothered with this distractions… as I have voiced many times to my Teapublicans… these are not important issues. I didn;t say bty cut 1/3 of the budget… I said we have sunk so low.. we have a least a decade of repair to do… I said cut 3 dollars and raise taxes one….. the system is to fragile to cut 1/3 from government.. but the sooner we start … the sooner we recover. I will support raising taxes.. but not another sous until the cuts start. And a good place to start is to not even let the ACA get started… kill it before it grows.

the only way out of this is to raise taxes and pay-as-you-go.

yeah, maybe now you say you want to raise a dollar of revenue for every three dollars in cuts, but your teabagging brethren don’t agree. the messiah offered them 10 dollars in cuts for one dollar of revenue and they refused – “no new taxes! too much government!” – so we ended up with that stupid simpson/bowles commission.
