Private horse barn in West Seattle is looking for an experienced person to assist with horse care. Responsibilities will include: Cleaning stalls, water and feed buckets, turn-outs, cleaning outdoor paddocks,and general barn upkeep. This is a labor intensive job that requires heavy lifting and handling horses. Must have a reliable form of transportation. Must have recent horse experience and be able to identify symptoms of colic, lameness, and general horse health. Looking for someone to work Saturdays and Sundays and availability to cover during the week is a plus! There are also no riding/lesson opportunities.
