mossy yardMemberLooking for organic lawn care specialist – Our lawn has lots of moss and has had no care other than mowing for 25+ years. Recommendations, anybody?

The Velvet BulldogParticipantClean Air Lawn Care (A WSB Sponsor, I believe) should be able to give you a hand with your lawn and advise as to how to keep it healthy without chemicals.
On the other hand, if it wants to be moss, moss “gardens” can be pretty nice and very low-maintenance!

funkietooParticipantAre you wanting to keep your lawn?
If not, moss is actually a nice alternative. Another option is a compacted, gravel garden floor. It absorbs rain water and you can landscape with containers, which makes it easy to change it up. An excellent, environmental option to grass and/or other patio hardscapes, plus a great play surface for children.
I’m having my backyard, ex-lawn converted to this in the next few weeks. Once it is done you are welcome to come see it if you like. Mike Anderson of Vineyard Gardens will installing this garden floor for me.

ADWParticipantIt’s Adam from Clean Air Lawn Care. I’d be happy to come take a look and see what we can do to help you attain the kind of yard you are hoping for. We do offer organic lawn treatments – but we’ll first have to tackle the moss with some good old fashioned elbow grease.
Feel free to call 206-941-4180 or email at adam@cleanairlawncare.com. And yes – we are a proud WSB sponsor!!
