Looking for recommendations for someone to remove trees from my yard.

We’ve had Kathy Holzer from Out on a Limb do several jobs for us and we’ve been very happy with her work. She’s a West Seattlite, as well! Her minimum is $300, I think, and she’s been great at finding work to do to meet that minimum if the job we had in mind didn’t do it. Her website is http://www.outonalimbseattle.com/

I just filled out the estimate request form on their (Out on a Limb) website and she stopped by unexpectedly this afternoon :-) We’re waiting for an email of the bid but it seemed very reasonably priced.

Stonehedge (http://www.stonehedgetree.com/)is good, too, and also WS based. We had them do some work for us a couple years ago. We had Washington Tree Service give us an estimate–it was 3x what Stonehedge asked for AND the person they sent out couldn’t even identify the tree species!
