HMC RichParticipantEnjoy the 4th. There are movies and then there are movies. Here is my list of movies that I can always watch whenever they are on or from a DVD over and over:
1. Independence Day. Cheesy I know but I can’t help it.
2. The Razors Edge. Bill Murray was fantastic
3. Pulp Fiction. Samuel Jackson was Awesome.
4. 13th Warrior. Great battle speech and just some Viking fun
5. Henry V Kevin Branaugh and a truly moving and historic battle speech
6. The Man Who Would Be King
7. From Dusk til Dawn
8. Creator – with Peter O’Toole
9. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
10. Being There.

The Day the Earth Stood Still – the original not the blasphemous remake starring, pardon the expression, Keanu Reeves.
For the 4th of July we probably need to do our lists of favorite westerns, but that would have to be a separate thread. A great western, along with being a truly American art form, usually revolves around the issue of how we should organize and conduct ourselves as civilized beings.
