RainyDay1235MemberYeah. My friend agreed to start juicing for me if I proivde the goodies. Anyone have any great combos (veggie & fruit) to share?

flowerpetalMemberI’m wide open on combo’s. What I do add that people sometimes overlook are fresh herbs. We sometimes buy a small bundle of cilantro or basil and then have left overs. Now they go into the juicer/blender for smoothies with that herbally zing!
Yay Tony’s!

celeste17ParticipantI am so bummed. I was just up in that area and didn’t see that he was open today. Oh well I will just have to drive by in another day or two.

carrieannMemberflowerpetal, you have me drooling at the thought. I LOVE the smell of fresh basil and cilantro. I shamelessly stop in the fresh herbs section and take a nice, deep whiff. Tony’s is already reasonably priced, so I love when they have some fun, super-cheap (usually meaning it’s really ripe and on its last legs) stuff in a bin up front. I’ve purchased bags of bananas, tomatoes, or avocados for next to nothing, and took it home to make some damn fine banana bread, pasta sauce, and guacamole. Yum!
