I used Seamens & Co for years but they retired a few years ago and sold their book of business. The new firm is fine but not in WS. If you have any WS recommendations I would love the info. Thank you!

I have my own business and home and I found Tax Prep just too confusing.
    I use: Jason@DuranteTax.com
and have been with him for several years and Yes, he’s in West Seattle

For us that do our own. Where do we get forms to fill out? Libraries have them but it’s anybody’s guess as to when they’ll open.

Scott Krzyzanowski is terrific. We’ve happily used his services for years; he’s a really friendly guy and extremely competent. His office is just north of Morgan Junction on California, and here’s his company’s info on the WS Chamber of Commerce website.

You can download most forms from the IRS web site

Michael Waldo. Only problem with that is I don’t have a printer-use the library for that.

Some post offices also have forms. I haven’t gone looking for them as I file electronically, so not sure if the post offices in our area carry them. You can also call IRS and have them mailed to you. Here’s the page with info on how to find forms: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/ways-to-obtain-irs-forms-and-publications

Sue. Thanks for the link! Just called and got my forms sent. 8 minutes total. The post office on California ave has never had any forms that i’ve been able to find.

Sorry for bumping into an old conversation. I completely understand the struggle to find a new tax prep firm after your trusted one retires. I don’t have any personal experience with firms in WS, but I hope you find one soon. Also, have you tried a real check stub maker? It’s a great app to help with managing finances. Of course, you’ll want to research and compare a few firms before making a final decision.
