    Hey gang!

Just because we are all so close, I figured that I would turn to you guys for advice on picking out a venue in West Seattle for a comedy show that a couple of friends and I want to put on when I’m in town.

The criteria for selection: a stage and a mic. It doesn’t have to be big or incredibly elevated, but something off the ground that we could stand on.

I’m hoping to use a coffee shop or bar on an off-peak night, so we don’t have to charge any kind of cover and the venue benefits from an extra 50+ customers.

The top two options that I can think of are Celtic Swell or C&H Coffee House. Any other similar venues that have slipped my mind?

    Thank you!

hmmm…..Kenyon Hall on 35th? Just get a huge coffee machine and brew your own?

    C & H is a pretty good one, too…

    Starbucks on Alki?

ummm…BPP? a few beers and the heckling starts? lol…

Skylark? (WSB sponsor) Eclectic programming – on Tuesdays, for example, it’s turntable spin-your-own night. I can’t remember if they’ve done comedy before but 80% sure they have.

If by C&H you mean C&P – I don’t know that they can hold 50 people. Skylark could.

I second Kenyon Hall. They have a full kitchen and I’m sure a coffee machine. If not, I’ll be selling a 10 cup machine (like new) at Hotwire Coffee tomorrow! :)

Ooo. All good ideas. Yes, I did mean C&P.MomonAlki hosted a party there a few months back and had a great time.

    Also another great idea: FULL-TILT!
