Anyone notice a bright white moving object in last night’s western sky? My husband and I were stargazing after dinner and saw a shooting star (way cool) then about 10 minutes later we saw a bright white object moving in the sky. At first hubby and I thought it was a satellite but it would stop and start moving and didn’t always travel in a straight line. We first saw it moving west to east and said “oh, look at the satellite” but then it stopped and started to move north, arced in a circle and went south. Sometimes it’s motion seemed to undulate like a fish swimming. We watched this thing for nearly half an hour and still could not figure out what it was. It was not a plane although a number did go by while we watched said object and it was too high to be a helicoptor. We really did think it was a satellite until the stange trajectory changes and undulations – it was still up there doing its thing when we went to bed. And for those of you who will ask (or think about it) we were not drunk nor imbibing on any illicit substances.
