    What? Se-man-tics ?

    Isn’t that, like, Jewish people or something?

    Well . . . maybe.

    But strictly speaking, semantics means:

    1. The branch of linguistics and logic concerned with meaning.

    2. The meaning of a word, phrase, sentence, or text: “such quibbling over semantics may seem petty stuff.”

    So why is/are semantics a thing?

    Well, I was getting to that. But I’ve got someone over here right now, and I’m not gonna rush him.
