    Is there anywhere in West Seattle (or beyond) where I can take my broken holiday light strings to be recycled?

    If you have RidWell or know someone who does, they typically have string lights and the like as a ‘Special Feature’ category shortly after Christmas.

    Check with Mclendon’s Hardware. They usually have bin just for broken lights, but I haven’t seen it yet this year.

    LKT, thank you for this question. I have wondered the same. Every year I say, I’m not buying more lights. Of course we get new ones.
