I’ve had really good luck with Dander & Daughters Chem Dry/Stanley Steamer in Georgetown.

Prompt, quality work, reasonable prices.

Obviously not a “green” type of cleaning but I’m not even sure I’ve seen one of those for carpets?

I did a lot of research to find a “green” cleaner and came up with Alpine Carpet Cleaning. They have a high Angie’s List rating and use Biokleen products. I haven’t used them yet, but plan to soon.
