A few weeks ago I was returning to my apartment when I realized that a necklace I seldom ever take off was no longer around my neck. It is a really simple sturdy silver chain with a very tarnished/sort of beaten up Celtic cross pendent (no monetary value but huge personal importance as it belonged to my granny). I immediately started retracing my steps, during witch time a lovely woman (can not remember her name!) walking her Sheba Inu (sp?) offered to help look. We never found the necklace and I was pretty heart broken. Just yesterday I come home to find an envelope at my door with the necklace inside. This amazing stranger found the necklace while walking her dog and remembering our conversation about the apartment building that I lived in, went out of her way to knock on a few of my neighbors doors until she knew which unit was mine. Words cannot express my gratitude for this act of kindness. I will be keeping my eyes out for her so as I can thank her in person but until then, big thumbs up for taking the time out of your day to return a very meaningful item.
