bsmommaParticipantThis is a 2 part Rave….. 1st Vincent at Shanti is AWESOME! He really nailed the look I was going for! Price was totally reasonable too! I paid about $15 more than what I was paying at a “Chain” salon that boasted of great looks for lower prices. And the Atmosphere (and smell) was so nice! LOVE IT! Highly Reccommend Shanti! I’ll be trying there spa services soon! 2nd.. Beauty Nails… Love them! Great prices, quality service, nice people and very kid friendly! They have the disposable spa pedicure tub liners. No need to worry about someone elses foot funk! Both Shanti & Beauty Nails have a customer for life!

I believe the owners name is Mimi. She’s a funny lady! The 1st time I called to get a manicure she asked, “How Many?” I was a little taken back and all I could think to say was “uhhh,ten???” She laughed and said, “TEN people?!” hahahaha!

bebecatMemberVincent does my hair too! He is a great talent to have right here in North Admiral at Shanti. And, I would suggest Shanti for nail services too! Shanti offers a 20% discount on essential Manicure or Pedicure during color processing time. It is a great way to utilize your time when busy. http://www.ShantiSalonSpa.com

wsahhaParticipantI wiped out my previous post after reading the rules. I had an awful experience at Shanti (after a series of good ones before Philip left). I would like to contact the owner, but am not sure of who that is and how to go about it. If anyone could let me know, I’d appreciate it…

voodooMemberwsahha – thanks for the feedback re Shanti post-Phillip. I have been a client of his for a year and a half, and was so torn when I heard that he left! Shanti offered me a discount on services with another stylist, but maybe it is worth it to follow him to Belltown. He is the best stylist I have EVER had!

WSB, thank you so much. I don’t feel comfortable calling the salon or sending an email that may or may not reach the owner. I won’t be going back, but if I were the business owner I would want to know about the experience…
