Been meaning to do this for a week and keep forgetting. I’m betting most cyclists know by now that the West Sea Cycle U is DA BOMB. But I have to call out the woman who did my [Groupon] tune up – Katherine? Kathleen? I’m terrible with names, but my Kestrel’s headset is tight as a frog’s nostril, no problems with shifting into highest gear, wheel rattle is gone. I’m bringing my rain bike in when the weather lets up. I’d say they are possibly the best LBS in town, and definitely my vote for best in West Seattle.

I second the Rave for West Seattle Cycle U!

My wife and I purchased bikes from them about 14 months ago. Brad, the manager, spent a TREMENDOUS amount of time answering numerous questions and making recommendations. We were new to road bikes and Brad was extremely friendly, patient and down-to-earth..

We went to a larger bike store in Green Lake, and their staff didn’t even bother to give us the time of day — I guess business is just that good.

Brad and staff were super detailed to the bike fitting and subsequently have an awesome, well-fit bike that I ride daily.

All told, between research and fittings, Brad and team probably spent easily 6-8 hours with us over the period of a couple of weeks.

They’re not bike snobs and the only attitude I’ve encountered is one of exceptional customer service.
