elgregoMemberPeople actually look at the expiration date on candy bars?

mellaw6565MemberActually, I do check now. A few years ago, we were near Snoqualmie Falls and stopped at a convenience store to grab a snack. It wasn’t until we got some ways down I-90 and opened the package of Reese’s PB Cups that we discovered they were moldy; upon further inspection the package was a year out of date. Needless to say I haven’t eaten any since!

kParticipanti happened to notice it while eating said candy bar on the way home. it tasted “ripe” to say the least, but perfect after an evening at bpp. just wondered what else has expired there????

theeParticipantdude, it was a kit kat… nobody buys those alleged candy bars. no wonder it was expired.

JoBParticipantexpired food is a problem everywhere.
after purchasing expired food from a major chain.. i now look at expiration dates on nearly everything i buy…
as well as reading labels.
it’s actually a great exercise in limiting consumption… by the time i am done with the label.. i generally don’t want it.
i do confess there are a couple of vices that i have chosen not to read the packaging …
everyone should have something they are willing to live dangerously for:)

vincentMemberThe short stop is best used for their impossibly wide selection of cheap beer. It would seem they also cater to your porn, bad gas station fantasy knife collections, and *water pipes.*
You buy food at your own risk.
