I really don’t like the new striping at the Alaska Junction parking lot near Oregon Street. The spaces are too small (even for my subcompact). The angle-in is ok, but the old straight-on parking worked fine because the lot is plenty wide enough to maneuver. This used to be my favorite lot for the Farmer’s Market, but not anymore.
Is this the lot that’s behind Jan’s Beauty Supply, Many Moons, etc.? I haven’t been there in a while, but that was always my favorite lot, so I’m disappointed if that’s the same one. I find parking spots here in Seattle way too narrow in general.
