Rant – Alki Beach Pumping Station

Is there any hope that this project will ever finish? Maybe they should be challenged to finish before the viaduct tunnel, then they may work faster than they are now. I ride past everyday on the way to work, and it is a joke…guys standing around smoking and little else. I even watched two women that were supposed to be directing traffic last winter sitting on beach chairs under a propane heater, reading novels…GET IT FINISHED

Actually they are on schedule to finish as planned this fall, as we reported last month. Most of the work is going on underground.
